Most people find it’s quite difficult at first, but with practice it will
get quite easy. In fact, you will put it in without even thinking of how
you do it.The first step is to determine what style of hearing aid you have. If
you’re not sure, you can have a look at the instructional videos on our
website. The first one I’m going to demonstrate is an inner ear style of
hearing aid. This hearing aid fits all inside the ear. To put it in your
ear properly, you need to hold it correctly.So, we can see this is where the sound bore is. The sound comes out of
here. This is the part that has to go into your ear. This hearing aid is a
left hearing aid, so I’m going to use my left hand to hold it. You can tell
it’s a left hearing aid because it has a blue dot. The hearing aid for your
right ear will have a red dot.So I hold the hearing aid up about level with my ear, and I’m going to bend
at my elbow and put the hearing aid to my ear. With a slight gentle rocking
motion, I twist it into the ear like that. A little wiggle with your finger
will make sure the hearing aid is nice and secure and it’s not going to
